Questions families ask

Do we use real photos?

Yes. Photos help draw each person's character. The book shows illustrated people, not a photo album, and not every photo has to be used.

Do I have to write the jokes or AI prompts?

No. The app writes and paints the pages from what your family shares. You just say what you'd like changed.

Does everyone have to take part?

No. Start with what you know and invite others as you go. More perspectives make a richer book.

Can I change something that doesn't feel right?

Yes, anything, before you order. Ask for a change on any page; the app keeps earlier versions of a picture when you ask for a new one.

Is the cover personalized too?

Yes. Your book gets its own title and a painted cover with your whole family on it, and you see it before it prints.

Will it arrive before Christmas?

Yes, if you start now. Start by early November and send the book to print by December 5; printing and shipping take about two weeks, so it's in hand at a US address by Christmas.

What if I change my mind?

A full refund within 14 days if you haven't used the AI yet: no picture painted and no page written by AI. Once the AI has been used, the $149 isn't refundable, because the writing and painting have been done for your family. A damaged or misprinted copy is always reprinted or refunded. Read the refund policy.
